Psychotherapy

The helpful process of psychotherapy takes place within the supportive relationship of the client and a trusted therapist. My style is warm, non-judgmental, and interactive. I work with my clients to foster a felt sense of genuine safety and together we can explore concerns, process and sooth distressing emotions, clarify hopes and goals, and nurture desired change and a lasting sense of well-being.

I was trained in Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Client-Centered theories that provide a foundation for the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Neurobiology (INPB), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and experiential attachment-based therapeutic techniques. My work is also greatly influenced by neuroscience research and mindfulness-based practices.
