I provide clinical supervision to social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists who are pursuing clinical licensure in the State of Oregon.
Clinical supervision is a relational process that takes place within the context of a trusted relationship between the clinical supervisor and the supervisee. My style is collaborative, non-judgmental, and directive when appropriate. It is my goal to support my supervisees in a way that fosters a strong sense of self and clinical competence. I approach supervision from a perspective of social constructionism and use an integrative model that focuses on developmental clinical needs and subjective emotional experiences of supervisees. Practical guidance is provided to support supervisees’ use of sound clinical interventions with their clients.
